Santa Rosa Urban Reuse Project

In 2004, the City adopted the IRWP Master Plan, which includes up to 2,200 million gallons of Urban Reuse under Alternative 3. Urban reuse provides recycled water for landscape irrigation and other approved uses, as regulated by the California Department of Public Health. This important means of recycled water disposal also serves to increase potable water supplies, especially during drought years.
